Aberthaw gets involved early during the planning process with the majority of the projects that it constructs. Working alongside the owner and the balance of the project team, we focus on maximizing opportunities while minimizing risk to the owner. From site analysis and logistics planning to equipment and material options, our dedicated Preconstruction Team delivers critical information key to cost and schedule decision making.

Design-Bid-Build

Aberthaw acts as a single point of responsibility for both the design and construction of a project. Design is provided by Aberthaw’s architectural firm partners who are carefully selected based on their area of specialty in the particular project type and industry sector that best serve our clients’ needs.

Construction Management

The construction manager (CM) is an advisor to the Owner acting in his or her best interest throughout the project. During the development and design phases, Aberthaw’s early involvement ensures that the project begins on track, successfully mitigating potentially costly issues that may arise during construction. We work directly with the owner, design team and major subcontractors and suppliers often engaging them early in preconstruction to yield greater benefits throughout the construction phase.
